Rare Armor Shard is a crafting material obtained by dismantling Rare quality armors. 1 to 4 Rare Armor Shards can be obtained from each Rare armor piece.
Rare Armor Shards are used together with Rare Upgrade Scroll when upgrading +6 and higher Rare quality armors. Rare Armor Shard is required for all armors crafted with Leatherworking.
